Hand Stripping
From £100
Recommended grooming method for wire-coated breeds, including most terriers. Hand-stripping is only suitable for coats that have not been previously clipped, as clipped hair does not pull as effectively. If you believe your dog has a 'blown' coat and is ready for hand-stripping, please get in touch with a photo of their coat before booking.

Nail Trimming
An essential part of the groom. Not clipping your dog's nails can lead to a long list of health concerns, but I know this can be daunting so you can leave this to me. Regularly keeping on top of their length is much better than one big trim a few times a year, so get in touch if you can hear them tapping on the floor when they walk, and they will be done in no time.
The Brush, Cut and Clip
Blasting
The blaster ensures the coat dries quickly and thoroughly, allowing more time for cutting and styling. I can adjust the power, allowing for gentler drying for nervous dogs or delicate coats. The blaster can even help me see right down to the skin so that heavier coats get a full examination and also aids in the de-shedding elements of the groom.
Flea Treatment and De-Matting
When it comes to the health of the dog, some of the most common issues us groomers run into are pesky fleas and matts, but if I come across either of these problems I can help for a small additional cost. I have flea shampoo at the ready and de-matting tools should we need them.
Hydrobath
A relaxing warm bath that penetrates even the thickest of coats, deeply cleaning your dog and stimulating healthy blood flow.
Hand Stripping
Hand stripping helps to preserve the natural coat by pulling the hair from the follicle by hand. This also helps to maintain the strength of the hair, the wiry texture and vibrant colours of your dog's coat. It does not hurt them and hand stripping only needs to be done approximately every 6 months, rather than clipping approximately every 8 to 12 weeks
Whether I am tidying up your German Shepherd or clipping your curly Cockapoo, this is what makes the difference in their appearance. Clipping can also help remove matting and keep them cooler in the summer, whilst a good brushing helps to remove the dead undercoat, allowing thick coats to receive better airflow to the skin and reducing natural shedding in the home.
Shampoo, Conditioning and Facial Wash
I use an all-natural yet deeply cleansing shampoo for dirty coats, however if your dog has sensitive skin I can use an aloe vera gel-based shampoo that helps calm any irritation. The conditioner brings out the shine and moisturises the coat whilst helping to detangle any knots. I use a tearless facial shampoo that aids in removing staining around the eyes and mouth.
